The Wonderful Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge is both a historical and beautiful attraction in Brooklyn. It is portrayed in a scene of the book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn because I believe that it symbolizes the main theme of the book. The theme of the book is to tell a tale of a girl named Francie who has a rough ride from innocence to experience. This was the scene in the book that meant the most to me because it was really easy to see what the bridge exemplifies. The first end of the bridge is innocence and the other is experience. And in between innocence and experience are all the wonderful times that happen in lives. And the lights above the bridge assure that there will always be light shining down on our lives no matter what. "Across the East River, like a fairy city made of silver cardboard, the skyscrapers loomed cleanly." This is the way in which Betty Smith described the wonderful Brooklyn Bridge and the city in the knowledgeable book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Excellent. You embedded this so well, and the write up is so on target. I would remind you to underline the title of a novel, and keep an eye on those sort of mechanics. Wonderful writing to accompany the work.
